
All documents required for your emigration to Paraguay
These documents are urgently needed; immigration to Paraguay is not possible without them.
All documents must be accompanied by an apostille or certification from the Paraguayan consulate.
All documents listed below must be translated into Spanish. Translation by a Paraguayan certified translator is included in our immigration services.

Urgently required documents:
Valid passport

The passport must be valid for at least six months upon entry into Paraguay.
International
birth certificate

This should not be older than ten years and should be provided with an apostille.
Criminal record certificate

This must not be older than six months when presented in Paraguay and must also be provided with an apostille.

marriage certificate or divorce decree

Marriage certificate:
You need an international marriage certificate that is no older than five years. You can get this from the registry office of the place where you are getting married.

Divorce decree:
The legally binding divorce decree is required. This document must be certified by the responsible regional court.

school certificates for school-age children

proof of name change

An official document confirming the name change, such as a government certificate or court judgment. This document should be in certified form.

naturalization certificate

This document confirms your German citizenship and is only required if you have immigrated to Germany and were not born in Germany. The naturalization certificate must be provided with an apostille, which confirms its authenticity for use abroad. In Germany, the apostille for federal documents is issued by the Federal Office of Administration in Cologne.
